A successful test implies that installation of tubing has been done correctly and the tube can tolerate even high pressure of water or any other kind of substance for which it is installed. A main point to be considered is that materials used for making PEX tubing initially undergoes 1 inch contraction when the temperature is varied by 10 degree Celsius.
